I just drilled the hole a little bigger, flip it upside-down and mounted it on a standard cymbal stand.

For my bass drum, I have the Evans Emad.
Also pictured here are Moon Gels. A great dampening systems that looks good too.

Like most drummers I'm very particular about my sticks. So it took me a wile to find the perfect fit.

When we record, I use the Audix Fusion series 7 piece mic set.
It comes with a bass drum mic, 3 tom/snare mics, 2 overhead mics and 1 mic specifically EQ'd for a floor tom. This was the selling point for me. I also use parts of a 5 piece Sure drum mic set.
